Sepsis epilepsy cure

Earlier I shared the health conditions of my father in 2014. He had sepsis and then multiple organ failure. Doctors said that there is no possibility of this recovery and he cannot recover from semi conscious state.

But he did recover and was completely independent.

I tried finding out what worked in his recovery. Posted my thoughts about the factors which might have helped my father recover.

I shared my thoughts, but no one corrected my thoughts.

In Nov 2016 my father suffered from sepsis again. Again he was in semi conscious state for more than 15 days. Same way doctors opined that he will not survive.

I did the same thing that I did 2 and ½ years back and he recovered.

But then his improvement was taking time, as I had been trying to find the exact cause and did not give up medicines as I did in 2014.

This time I found that epilepsy medicine was the main problem which was denting his recovery efforts. I spoke to my friend doctor and took a calculated risk by cutting down his epilepsy medicine by 50% and there was perceptible positive change in 12 hours. Still it took me more than 15 days to completely stop the epilepsy medicine.

Since that day there has been consistent improvement in his health.

I some areas he has recovered better then he had recovered in 2014. To the best of my understanding his brain has started working much better than it was working after 2014. That is still to be seen for next few months.

If he continues to maintain the improvement in his brain functioning then epilepsy and other brain related conditions can be completely cured without any medicine.

The thing that seems to be working is –

One day my father takes saline water (1.25 grams of salt in a glass of water). 3-4 glasses of water during day time.

Next day my father takes 3-4 glasses of water without salt. In addition he takes 2.5 grams of table sugar every 1 or 2 hours.

So far there is no seizure and he is without epilepsy medicines for last 30 days. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

One Cure for All Diseases

One Cure for All Diseases

One Cure for All Diseases

  • Every disease is caused due to chronic inflammation.
  • Inflammation essentially involves some swelling.
  • This inflammation is at cellular level. There is excess fluid in cells as well as in gaps between the cells.
  • By hydration / dehydration cycles the fluid outside the cells (gap between the cells) is exchanged / removed to the blood and outside the body as well.
  • But there is no significant change in the fluids in cells.

The above explanation is an after thought based on personal experience. Else where I shared my experiences with my father in June 2014. There had been so many things that were done to help my father to recover to good health.

Some details about my father. My father is 82 years with both hip replacements done some 20 years back. He broke his collar bone 12 months back. He had another arm bone broken 2 years back. So there was limited limb movements in the sense that he could walk independently without any help or support but used to get tired in about 100 meters. He suffered from high Blood pressure. But he was never diabetic.

The exact things which helped him to recover was not clear and there was no significant reversal of his health condition of seizures. He used to get seizures every 2 or 3 months. Though initially the seizures were even more widely spaced out 3 to 4 months but with time the seizures started every 1 month or so though these were very mild most of the time allowing my father to recover in 15 minutes or so.

But in Nov. 2016 he did not recover from one of the seizures. After taking him to hospital and after putting him on epilepsy drugs he lost all limb movements and was in semi conscious state. Again the doctors told that he will not regain limb movements for rest of life (which was not estimated to be more than 7 days). But here again with fluid management as mentioned at www.healthyindianow.in he recovered and was sent to home but there was very minimal limb movements.

Withdrawing the epilepsy drugs improved the limb movements. With each withdrawal of drugs he kept regaining his limb movements.

But due to poor management of his bed movements, he developed bed sores. Once these bed sores were there, it did not seem to improve inspite of all care.

At this time the assessment by medical professionals was that it may take upto 6 months to recover from all bed sores.

Finally all medicines were withdrawn and he was given about 5oo to 800 ml water every day. On day 1 he was given sugar – 1/2 spoon every hour. On day 2 he was given 1/4 small spoon of salt in each glass of water in place of sugar.

So sugar and salt were alternated. One day sugar, 2nd day salt.

And results shocked me. He started recovering really fast in 10 days all his bed sores were healed. His brain also seems to be recovering.

During his hospitalisation his brain was also effected. The doctors explained that the CT Scans showed that portion of the brain which is supposed to be gray has become black and there is no way that can be changed.

During 2014 to 2016 he was very repetitive. He used to get his bank balance even during middle of night. He was fussy about getting his bank pass books updated every month from various banks though there were no new transactions.

This time when he started recovering his initial response was of repetitions. But gradually he seemed to be improving in that departments as well. He is not repetitive and is engaging in more logical conversations.

Hopefully he is on better recovery this time.

With this sugar and salt on alternate days his Blood pressure and blood sugar seems to be in perfect range. There are no fluctuations and blood pressure is normal these days.

And then I also implemented this salt and sugar on alternate days. And results are really shocking.

Sepsis survivor’s story by his son

Sepsis survivor’s story by his son

Age 80 years.

Patient history

  • Constipated for last 50 years.
  • Epilepsy since last 25 years – On tagritol 400 mg daily for last 20-25 years. Any attempt to give up Tagritol used to cause seizure in 2-3 days.
  • Urine incontinency since last 10 years or more.
  • Both Hip Replacement surgery 7-8 years back.
  • Prostate problems for last 5 years or so.
  • High blood pressure medicine for last 20 or more years
  • Blood sugar never a problem. But sugar consumption on a very low side since long time.
  • Used to drink alcohol about 30 years back on regular basis. After that very casual once in 10-20 days.

Just before May 2014

For last 6-7 months severe constipation with increased pulse rate of 130-140 and high blood pressure. 3 Hospitalisations in 12 months prior to May 2014.

My father was hospitalized on 20.5.2014. Was ok in few hours after hospitalization. But fell from hospital bed on 22.5.2014 and broke his arm from near shoulder.

Was operated upon on 27.5.2014. But had signs of altered sensorium. He stopped responding to any stimulus. He was not able to talk or respond to any verbal commands. He was discharged from hospital saying that he is under sedatives which has caused this problem and will be ok in 12 hours or so after reaching home.

He was again hospitalized on 1.6.2014. He had severe lung congestion. He underwent dialysis since his kidneys also stopped working. He was unconscious for more than 3-4 days. He was discharged from hospital on 10.6.2014 with food pipe. He was not able to speak since his lungs were still blocked. At home the food pipe came out while sleeping. He had problems in ingesting food and liquids. He had developed gangrene as well. He had black nails in his feet.

Again my father was hospitalized on 14.6.2014. The attempts at inserting the food pipe and urine failed. He became semi unconscious by 15.6.2014. He was shifted to ICU and remained there for next 8 days. In the same condition. He had stopped responding to any stimulus.

Then he was shifted to HDU around 24.6.2014. On 26.6.2014 he responded to verbal commands and was shifted to a room.

During the course of my father’s ICU stay, I was told that his brain CT scan has shown black in a place which is supposed to be gray. That his brain had damaged and there is no way it can recover. I was told that chances of his survival are zero. That whatever time is left will be spent in making visits to the hospitals. That his death was supposed to be due to asphyxiation. He was suggested to undergo a procedure wherein asphyxiation can be avoided.

We did not opt for that since it was supposed to delay the death and was of no curative value.

After shifting to the room I stayed with my father for next 48 hours. For the first 12 hours I gave him 100 ml water thru his food pile (ryles tube) every 45 to 60 minutes. He was also given milk and egg white inspite of my protests to start him on rice. Every 2 hours. In 10 hours my father complained of stomach pain and hence I stopped the water.

Every 2 hours efforts were made to clear cough from his throat by using vacuum pump. But nothing seemed to move to his throat.

Next 40 hours I dehydrated my father. I gave him no water except milk and egg whites.

After 40 hours his mouth was filled with heavy cough which had to be cleared using cotton bands since he was not able to spit the cough. Next 10 – 15 days we repeated the procedure of hydration dehydration. At the end this chest was absolutely clear. There was no sign of any congestion in his chest. Though he had a history of chest congestion. During his first 48 hours hydration / dehydration cycle he lost 9 litre of fluid thru urine. The total intake was about 2.5 litres after considering his milk and egg white intake. The fluid loss thru breathing was in excess of 3 litres in view of sepsis and breathing rate of 24 per minute. Next fluid loss was 9 litres or more.

After this initial 48 hours my father was discharged from hospital.

During his stay at home there was complete confusion which medicine is to be given and which not. The medicines were random. After about 45 days we stopped epilepsy / schizophrenia medicines completely. During this 45 days period also his medicines were on and off without any reasons.

His congestion did come back after he started consuming milk. The swelling in feet was visible after he started tea intake.

His swelling was reduced after he was given salt water and hydration/ dehydration cycles.

During this period of 45 days he used to get up every 2 hours during night to pass urine.

He still repeat these hydration/ dehydration cycles once in 7 days. His night time passing of urine has stopped completely.

He has stopped wetting his clothes.

My father does not have any pains. He sleeps at least 14-16 hours a day. Though he complains that his sleep is not very sound. He was used to pain killers earlier. But he does get enough sound sleep for 6 to 8 hours or more. His gangrene is gone. His foot nails have become white. He is on his own. He can climb down the stairs on his own. His breathing is better in the sense that he does not get tired easily. He does not take any medicine any more except blood pressure once in 7 days or so when his blood pressure shoots up. The changes in blood pressure is due to poor fluid control on most of days now.

Main Points of Treatment

  • Hydration/ dehydration cycles
  • Daily sugar intake spread thru out the day
  • Rice diet in intial 45 days. Wheat excluded
  • 5-6 meals every day.

What was the logic

  • Since childhood I had sinus. Since I was a sportsperson with very good pain tolerance, I never saw a doctor for 2 reasons. First I or my parents did not know what is sinus and what are symptoms. Second it used to get easily cured in 3-4 days may be due to my sports. As I aged the problems of sinus became sever. Frequent Sore throat, body ache, fever etc for more than 10 days. It used to be severe and I had to be on bed for 7 to 10 days. During those days I started experimenting with dehydration.
  • When I had my last sinus episode, I decided to give up all fluids for 48 hours. After 24 hours I found there was no fever and pain or discomfort associated with sinus. After 24 hours the cough started flowing freely. It took about 7 days and my chest was as clean as glass.
  • Over the next 3-4 years I was not getting sinus very frequently. When there was little problem I used to repeat the same dehydration cycle. For last 3-4 years I did not get any fever or running nose. Not even a single day lost due to any health issues. I did not take any precautions. I could be in the company of people who had severe allergies and cold and cough, seasonal flu but i was completely immune.
  • So I knew that it works on all respiratory problems.
  • I am so confident about respiratory systems, that I assured my friend who started snoring recently that with 4 hours he will get complete relief from snoring.
  • In fact I am quite confused why no one thought of this simple logic earlier. Sinus has symptoms like – inflammation, infection, congestion and swelling. Dehydration relieves congestion. Dehydration heats up the body killing all bacteria. Dehydration removes swelling. With these things gone – inflammation is also cured.

Now since my father had very severe cough and his lungs were all chocked I could think of nothing but easing the respiratory pathways. And it worked. Why do we need the medicines any way.

Inflammation and Sepsis

Inflammation and Sepsis

What is Inflammation – The link discusses most of the things –  http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/248423.php

The above articles concludes that inflammation is caused in every disease. That is common link. it also gives a report card that there is no known cause and cure of inflammation.

The question that arises is – if inflammation is reduced or completely eliminated, does that cure the underlying disease. To me it seems so.

I started treating sinus about 7-8 years back by dehydration for 24 to 48 hours. It it always worked with clock wise precision.

2 months back my mother aged 80 had tooth ache. Due to other health concerns, I wanted to avoid pain killers. I asked her to give up water for 24 hours. She did. And thereafter she did not report any pain.

In May-June 2014 my father aged 80 was hospitalised and diagnosed with sepsis, He had other complications as well. The attending doctors said that there are no chances of his survival. I tried the same over hydration for 24 hours and then dehydration for the next 24 hours and he started recovering. When he shifted to home, I hired a health care provider to hydrate and dehydrate with precision. Today he is without any medicines whatsoever.

Sepsis is whole body inflammation and the mortality rate is about 49%. But people with multiple organ failure, more than 15 days in ICU thee are no chances of survival. The people who survive are supposed to have insomnia and disabling pain. He has none. He seems to be in better health then he was 20 years back. All of his problems are gone. The hydration dehydration cycle was repeated for more than 10 times during the period of recovery. His brain was also reported to have suffered irrepairable damage. But now there is no sign of brain damage. He is cured of seizures as well.

If sepsis and underlying inflammation can be cured in 48 hours, why cancer and other incurable diseases cannot be repaired in 48 hours. Afterall the extent of inflammation is lower in case of other diseases as compared to sepsis.

One should also take note of foods that cause inflammation –  http://www.arthritistoday.org/tools-and-resources/slideshows/food-ingredients-and-inflammation.phphttp://www.care2.com/greenliving/top-12-foods-that-cause-inflammation.html

Sepsis Cure

Sepsis Cure

My father is aged 80 years. He had been in hospital 2-3 times in last 8-9 months. His pulse used to go high upto 140 bpm. Usually severe constipation and low fever used to lead to high pulse followed by hospitalisation. He had been on medication for constipation for more than 50 years. He had CKD stage 4 condition for last several years. He had high BP for last 40 years or more.

His stay in the hospital used to be uneventful.

This time he was admitted on 20.5.2014 at night. By next day his pulse was normal. The doctors told us on 22.5.2014 that he will be discharged the next day morning. At midnight we were informed that he fell from bed and broke his left arm. It required surgery. His surgery was planned after 5 days.

His was administered pain killers for his arm. By next 2 days he was losing his senses. But doctors kept on assuring that he is alright. Surgery was carried out in that condition on 27.5.2014. After surgery had started having problems in drinking and eating. One day after the surgery the hospital started pushing for discharging my father. Inspite of our reservations, the hospital discharged him. After bringing him home, we found that he is not responding to any gesture or voice command. Even his eyes were not responding to light or other stimulants. However the hospital doctors kept assuring that this is due to medicines and he will be all right in few hours.

By next day morning we were sure that some thing is wrong. A doctor at local CHGS dispensary suggested that he might be slipping in vegetative conditions and should be taken to a neuro hospital.

We moved him to another hospital within 24 of discharge from the first hospital. After 1 day his urine output came down to zero. After 2 days they carried out CRRT Dialysis. After CRRT he was discharged in haste again within 2 days without any instructions about removing his food pipe and urine pipe.

At home after 2 days his food pipe came out while he was sleeping. After that again his food intake and water intake dropped to zero.

Again he was moved to hospital due to weakness and no food intake. After 2 days of admission he became semi unconscious. He was shifted to ICU. But even after 5 days in ICU he did not respond to any stimuli. He had severe infections in lungs, could not speak anything, could not pass stool without anemia.

The doctors suggested that we take him home. The doctors said that there is no hope for him and he will require hospitalisation every now and then and therefore we should have arrangements with a hospital close to our home.

The doctor told me to rent a suction pump for taking out cough of my father. I asked doctor about the cost of suction pump and suggested that we can buy the same. The doctor said that buying will be much more expensive and renting is a better option hinting that my father is not likely to survive more than 10-15 days.

I requested the doctors to let me know the basic medical terms and the basic conditions of my father so that I could do some thing according to my knowledge of health matters. The doctors gave my the name of a book and author to read and refused to give any more details.

I very strongly requested the doctors to stop the antibiotics since it seemed to cause dehydration. But doctors refused to agree even though I very strongly offered to give my request in writing. The doctors seemed to have reduced the medicines and changed the antibiotics as well. The hospital even refused to change his diet inspite of my written request.

After 24 hour my father had some response and opened eyes and tried to communicate. After this the hospital shifted my father to general ward.

For last 2 days my father was shifted to general ward. I stayed with him. First day I gave my father 100 ml water every 1 hour thru food pipe. By 8 PM my father complained of stomach ache. And I promptly stopped giving him water.

Next day I did not give a single drop of water to my father. By next day evening my father was was able to cough and spit out his cough. That was a good sign. I had requested the same earlier as well.

Finally my father was discharged from hospital on 26.6.2014 with food pipe and urine pipe. We kept alternating his water intake and then stopping his water intake for 24 hours for next 10 days. He still had his food pipe and all food and water were delivered thru food pipe only. After 6 days my father removed his food pipe while he was sleeping.

After this we started giving food and water thru mouth. My father used to vomit the food and water along with cough every time we used to feed him.

But day by day his cough was becoming less thick and less in volume as well.

The other problem was that my father was not able to pass the stool without anemia. The colour of the stool was dark green. I checked from my friends in medical profession, they also opined that dark green stool is also an indication of last days and that days are counted for my father.

After 20 days at home we started giving mixed fruit Jam every hour – 1 spoon every hour. Some times plain sugar was also given to supplement the sugar.

It took another 10-15 days and the colour of the stool also changed from dark green to normal yellow.

Now my father is perfectly all right. He is without any medication for last 15 days.
