Can coconut oil get rid of dandruff

Skin is our largest organ. It weights from 4 kg to 10 kg depending on weight and height of the person.

Skin is excretory organ just like kidneys. Google these facts and confirm if you so like.

Skin and kidneys both remove waste or minerals and nutrients in wrong proportions in our body. Any excess fluid or imbalance mineral is temporarily stored in the skin layers. We sweat all the time (whether it is visibly felt or not). We lose about 500 ml to 1500 ml water through sweating in 24 hours. This is one of the vital stats of the body which is monitored in any ICU when a person is very sick.

The excretion from the skin is facilitated by the natural skin oil called sebum. In the absence of natural skin oil the toxins start building up in the skin and cause extensive damage to the skin and other vital organs of the body.

Coconut oil traps the moisture in the skin and scalp. You can google and confirm this fact. So the sebum oil gets trapped inside the skin.

Just imagine what will happen if your urine output stops. That means painful death. Same is the case with skin.

All man made oils are 100 times or more heavier than sebum oil. People who say that their skin is oily are basically experiencing oily skin because their skin oil has not been excreted for years and has formed scales and hence has become very heavy.

Same is the case with shampoos and conditioners. Any product whose pH value is close to skin pH value of 4.5 to 5.5 will have problem with the excretion of sebum skin oil.

Washing hair and bathing twice with soap every day during winters and washing and bathing once in 2 days during summers is good for skin. We need to bath more often in summers with plain water. Because we lose lots of skin oil through sweating.
