What is the cause of high blood pressure

The most successful and first line of medicine for high BP is popularly known as water pill or dieuretics. These medicines cause production of more urine to keep the fluid levels in check.

So we can assume that the most important cause of BP is excess of fluids in the body.

But people are told to drink as much water as possible.

There are lot of myths and stories spread in the world about drinking water. No governement has ever cared to resolve the situation by getting the question examined scientifically.

The top level myth is to limit the intake of salt/ sodium. That has never cured anybody of high blood pressure.

The basic cause of BP is low BMR or low resting metabolic rate. That means there is not enough energy in the body for vital organs to function optimally. This causes increase in fluid levels between the space between the cells. That increase the requirement of energy for heart and kidneys to manage the excess fluids. This is vicious negative cycle.

Any medicine which causes excessive urine production causes a person to feel more thirsty and he increases his water intake and tea intake.

Limiting the intake of sodium reduces the metabolic rate further. Resulting in increase in Blood pressure in course of time.

So the entire system of medicine is the first and foremost cause of increasing incidence of high BP in the world.

So closing the medicine system will be first valid step to take to eliminate the menance of BP.

One can easily increase the resting metabolic rate by walking and rest routines suggested on my blog.

Hydration dehydration cycles suggested on my blog manages the fluid levels between 3 compartments of fluid in the body.

In brief it is –

Chronic mineral imbalance in blood leads to low metabolic rate resulting in aging and age related diseases like blood sugar, blood pressure and heart disease etc.

To correct mineral imbalance do hydration dehydration cycles and to increase resting metabolic rate do walking and rest routines as detailed on my blog.

******To increase Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) do the following******

Walk for 5 minutes at easy pace within your home in the morning.

After walking rest for 5–10 minutes in bed.

Repeat the above 3 times in the morning, afternoon, evening and at night before sleeping. So that makes for 12 walk and rest routines or 5×12 = 60 minutes of walk for the entire period. One can do it selectively during week days and on working days only in the morning and at night.

The idea about walking is that it mobilises energy and before the entire mobilised energy is spent we rest. In such a case a part of the mobilised energy becomes available for vital organs.

Doing walking and rest routines takes care of aging related diseases as well.

****In brief hydration dehydration cycles is as given here -****

Day 1 – Drink 150–200 ml water every hour from 7 am to 6 pm. No other fluid/ liquid.

Day 2,3 – Drink 150–200 ml water 3 times only during the day. Total fluid intake 450–600 ml in the day.

Repeat for 2–3 weeks.

Fluid overload is one of the basic reasons of low resting metabolic rate.
